I hate this planet

Damn it's been a horrible day today. The clouds have blocked the sky for the third day running and the ECC (Environmental Control Commission) refuses to do anything about it. This planet sucks. In fact I suppose it's been this way for the last few centuries. On top of the depressing weather, there's been more trouble.

A few dozen of those stupid anti-eugenics protesters decided to have a little riot across the river. They did a bit of burning before some of our guys got over and told them to quit whining. Seriously, is it our fault if their parents were too dumb to see that gene therapy was the best thing since sliced bread? Maybe if we castrated the lot of them they'd shut up.

Here's a pointer for all you twenty-first century 'pure-blood' humans: when genengineering comes along -- go for it. Now I'm going back to my nightmares.
